installation with Reporting services-native errors

    Hi,

    when i try to install sql server 2014 on my machine,all the features were installed but except Reporting services-Native and error occured as shown below.

    Error details:

    § Error installing SQL Server Reporting Services

    Updating permission setting for folder 'C:\Windows\Temp' failed. The folder permission setting were supposed to be set to 'D:(A;OICI;0x1200af;;;S-1-5-80-4063824523-3130906261-2263067808-2545249320-213050741)'.

    Error code: 0x84CF0003

    Could anyone suggest me the solution please....

    Is this install done on a corporate system at work or on a local system? I ask because it could be related to anti-virus/protection software. I have seen a lot of installs fail due to very aggressive McAfee HIPS/ePO policies that did not allow the install to succeed. In those cases it took getting with the admins of the ePO system to get temporary relaxed policies applied to allow the install to succeed.

    Try running the setup file as admin, right click and run as administrator. Or you can try disabling UAC in the control panel.

    I tried with both solutions mentioned above but still i could see the same error again....any alternatives please...

    What is the service account your using when installing SSRS? is it network service or your local account?

    change it to your account , the username and password you use to login and it should work
