Hi,

I was asked to get information from AD.

I have a connection of type: OleDB provider for MS Directory Services

and the preview works OK and returns the correct info:

SELECT employeeid, sAMAccountName
FROM 'LDAP://DC=xxxxx,DC=ad'

BUT when I run the package it gives:

Error: 0xC02090F5 at Data Flow Task, ADO NET Source [2]: The ADO NET Source was unable to process the data. 'ADsDSOObject' failed with no error message available, result code: -2147016669(0x80072023).[/right]

I found this URL about the issue:

http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sqlserver/en-US/fb1b3010-7861-430d-857a-49f7a9b0ecfb/processing-data-from-ado-net-active-directory-source-fails?forum=sqlintegrationservices

Is the script method really the only way to accomplish this...?
