all the documentation I find about maximum virtualization licensing talks only about Enterprise Edition. What about if we are using standard Edition? Would the same rule apply - that the number of SQL VMs I can have can equal the number of cores? e.g. The server has 16 cores, so I can have 16 SQL Vms.
