What is the best way to do this in SSIS.?

Here is an example

http://intelligentsql.wordpress.com/2013/07/24/ssis-variable-length-fixed-width-flat-files-design-pattern-with-no-scripting/

We just need reverse of this i.e to generate flat file similar to this from db with the sp which returns multiple results(header record-set,footer record-set,rows record set). each having different columns and widths.

If you can give us example that will be really helpful.

Many Thanks in advance

Harman

Hi Harman

I've built quite similar solution to extract invoices for printing work. The main goal for me was to create stored procedure which casts
all parts (header, item details, subtotals, footer) in the same data type.
