minor updates.

there are two sort options, and we are including the publication date along with the author (where appropriate) on the search page.

Comments appreciated.

very very useful for me, indeed. great job.

I might remember a post i saw two weeks ago,and want to find it;
now with the Relevant First, it's muche easier to page through and find it;

before i'd end up using google site search instead of the built in search for that situation.

I have so been wanting an author search function. Not sure how much use I'll get out of publication date, but if it allows adding start & end dates, I'll love it.

Will go check out functionality now.

That is excellent!!! I know that I was at least one of the people who has requested including the author. That in combination with release date and sorting makes the search feature no longer user hostile. Kudos and thanks Steve.

Author is still on the list. I'm hoping to get more changes made here once I get more development resources.

Yeah, what I thought you meant was not what I saw. But I do like that the date and name are listed on the results.
