Hi All

Here we have configured the mirroring. but in mirroring data not synchronized from last 10 hours how to solve the issue. and how can I find whether it is synchronized or not.

here we have do the failover of mirror server whether is it applicable immediately or it will take time for fail over?

how to do the fail over in this scenario?

Is it way behind? Have you looked in BOL for the "Monitoring Mirroring Status"?

It could be always slightly behind, depending on how your system is setup and your network.

In a failover, if it's behind, you lose data.

A couple of really good links for you to learn and hopefully help you:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms190030.aspx
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms189931.aspx

One of the items I watch is the RedoQueueKB. Tells you how much data would need to be applied on the mirror during a failover before the database would come online.

Hope they help.
