Im using perfmon to measure transaction throughput on a server. The problem is I don't know which to measure.

Theres a Transactions\sec counter for each database. The database in question is showing 2500+ transactions\sec
There is a Transactions in the SQL Server\Transactions group.
Theres a Transactions counter in the SQLServer\General Statistics group. This counter is showing 20 Transactions.

As they all have different values, im not sure which one is correct purposes. can anyone advise a bit further on which is the most relevant metric?
