I am trying to take a grouped report from SSRS 2008R2 and export to Excel but then still be able to sort by columns and keep the groups together. I have tried many ways of highlighting the rows and selecting how to sort it but then the hidden/grouped rows don't travel with the main row.

Any ideas?

Attached is an example of the data I am working with and the desired format. Currently with the groups collapsed.

Say I want to sort by Supervisor and then Location, the hidden rows don't always go with the main rows when sorting them.

In the attached report this does work on the first tab and doesn't work on the second tab.

Respectfully,
