Hi,

I need to get the name of the Report Server dsn details for a given SSRS instance programmatically.
I'm aware that I can get this by going into the SSRS Configuration Manager GUI.
I'm also aware that this information is written to the RSReportServer.config file, but it is encrypted.
I've seen RSConfig.exe, but it appears that while this will set the DSN information, it can't retrieve that info.

Is there any way to retrieve the dsn details from the RSReportServer file, or from anywhere else?

The reason that I need this is that in our environment for testing purposes, we regularly change the database that SSRS is using.
We therefore need to know what database is being used at a given time.

Thank you for your help
Steve
