Hi I have been trying to do FTP through SQL Script.
The script does connect the destination server and drop the file in appropriate folder.
It is working fine with small size of file, But I have the file size 20gb It is not working and giving the following error:
Connection closed by remote host.
Netout :Connection reset by peer
My intention is to schedule a job, which transfer the backup file from Production environment to Dev and there I have to write another
job to restore the database when ever the new file came or overwrite occurs on the old file.
Can some one please help me on that. Thanks in advance.

What size files were going across without any problem? Have you looked into increasing the FTP buffer window?

George: You're kidding.
Elroy: Nope.
George: Then lie to me and say you're kidding.

Hi Chris, Thanks for quick reply.
upto 100 mb - 2gb files were transferring good. And even these kind of files are also giving the same issues sometimes.
And I dont know about FTP buffer window. where do I need to see that? And what is the process to do this?
Thanks
