Hi

I hope this forum becomes popular as Sharepoint seems to be coming more the norm now for DBAs to administer.

My question is about the setup account used to install Sharepoint. This account needs DBcreator and Securtyadmin. Our install is successfull and I can see this account owns a couple of the config databases, while the farm accounts owns other databases. My quesiton is what should I now do with the install account?

Should I be changing hte owners of the databases and removing the install account from SQL?

Should the install account be removed from AD?

Thanks for any help
