I have a really old 6.5 setup. It has an app that hits the db but it was all based on the domain. Nothing in the app controls this the sql service used to run as a domain service account but the server is NT4 and no longer communicates to the domain. We set the service to load as the service account and are trying to load the app as the local admin of the administrator remotely but without luck.
Does anyone know of a company that has support resources for 6.5 or anyone have time to work with me to get an answer to help me in figure this out?
Oh yeah to add more to the deal the system is on the final hard drive and I'm afraid to reboot it because of that. We are just trying to get it communicating one last time to print off data quickly before the 14 year old compaq dies for good.
