I have an odd situation in which the total duration for a period of time exceeds that of the given time period. For example, I run Profiler for 3-hours, however the sum of the Duration column for that period of time is 8-hours. I would expect it to be less than 3-hours. How is that possible? Does it have to do with parallel processing (MAXDOP), or do I have a bad Profile capture?
