What is the format of the DBF files? Are these database files? What driver are you using to connect to them?
Is the meta data in all the source files the same? (Field names, types, number of fields.)
If you haven't even tried to resolve your issue, please don't expect the hard-working volunteers here to waste their time providing links to answers which you could easily have found yourself.
