As above the statement is just warning you about the size of the snapshots, if you snapshot a 20gb database then everytime you sync the data you are moving 20gb each time. By design transactional replication does at it says on the tin, it moves over the required transactions, so they are a lot smaller than the complete db. The use of both replication types though are very different and you need to use the one that works in your environment.
