It is not possible to install an Enterprise Edition on a XP operating system. You can only install an Express, Compact or Developer edition on a client OS.

The only things you can install on XP from an Enterprise CD are:

* Client Connectivity (MADC)

* SQL Server Management Studio

The Enterprise Edition requires an Enterprise or Data-Cener Server Edition as operating system.
