is it absolutely necessary to have dev databases that large??at most a small subset of data is usually good enough, 400GB is a bit OTT.
I agree with that, I shall only have subset of data for our dev environment. Please let me know what hardware will be enough(like cpu's, memory etc) so that I can tell our IT. Thanks.
