NGS has SQuirreL for SQL Server which will do password recovery on SQL Server 2000. It uses the algorithm they developed and put into NGSSQLCrack, which is a separate product. SQuirreL is a full blown database scanner, so depending on your needs is what product you'd want. They are solid and trustworthy. I've not heard of the company you referred to in this post.
