Disable TCP Chimney, TCPA and RSS

HKLM-->System-->CurrentControlSet-->Services--TCPIP-->Parameters

Change the following entries to 0 and reboot

EnableTCPChimney

EnableTCPA

EnableRSS

Alternatively, set the KeepAlive setting via SQL Configuration Manager to a higher setting than the application side connect pool timeout setting.
