I don't know where the fault lies, whether it is recruitment consultants talking up their clients or clients doing it for themselves. No-one goes into an interview and says "well actually I am just an assistant to an oily rag".

The entire profession has become a haven for would be used car salesmen. BOL has become the equivalent of sawdust and pantihose in the gear box to make it feel less baggy.
