We are using this server for monitoring the log shipping

OK, so your using this Developer instance to connect to your production Standard/Enterprise instances to monitor your backup processes?

So as per the Microsoft SQL Licensing guide, you are actually in breach of the guide, as the guide states

A production environment is defined as an environment that is accessed by end-users of an application (such as an Internet website) and that is used for more than gathering feedback or acceptance testing of that application. Other scenarios that constitute production environments include:
ï‚Ÿ Environments that connect to a production database.

ï‚Ÿ Environments that support disaster-recovery or backup for a production environment.

ï‚Ÿ Environments that are used for production at least some of the time, such as a server that is rotated into production during peak periods of activity.

So you have breached the guide on the first and second points of the guide.
I suggest you go and upgrade to a fully licensed version of SQL before you get hit by a big fine from Microsoft for none compliance.
