• Our Stairway series can help with T-SQL. We have a couple on that subject.

Books are good, and the one Jason recommended (recipes) is a format I like. Those are good for the programming side of things.

The administration side is separate. We have lots of articles here, but not terribly organized. I haven't looked at the Dummies book, but I like the previous edition of this book: http://www.amazon.com/Professional-Microsoft-Server-2014-Administration/dp/1118859138/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1407856436&sr=8-5&keywords=SQL+Server+2014

I'll also say I read a "Month of lunches" book and really liked that: http://www.amazon.com/Learn-Server-Administration-Month-Lunches/dp/1617292133/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1407856436&sr=8-8&keywords=SQL+Server+2014
