knives the fix is rediculously easy;
the Tally table needs to start at zero instead of one.
so this tiny subsection changes:
TALLY (N) AS (SELECT ROW_NUMBER() OVER (ORDER BY (SELECT 0)) FROM THOUSANDS)
--change to
TALLY (N) AS (SELECT ROW_NUMBER() OVER (ORDER BY (SELECT 0)) - 1 FROM THOUSANDS)
