Isn't cliconfg just an alternate interface for SQL Server Configuration Manager, which I've been using? When I open cliconfg, I see all of the aliases I set up using SS Configuration Manager, with all the same settings for each of them. This is true whether I use the 64-bit or 32-bit versions (b/c I set up both types of aliases in SS Configuration Manager.)
