Elliott has a good point. Regardless of the 'expiry date' on your current license, it is always worth putting some pressure on Microsoft, via your license reseller, to get some discount based on the licenses you already hold. We had to go through a very complex MS relicensing deal this year and had far better terms by the time we signed than what we were first offered.
