• Things I would check:

    1. The account you logged in as has administrator privileges on the machine.

    2. That you typed in this account as the account with remote access.

    3. That the default User Access Rights have not been overridden by Domain Level

    GPOs.

    4. Make sure you have sufficient free space on the system partition on all

    nodes.

    5. Verify that the Local Domain Groups required by the setup program exist in

    AD or the installation account has permission to create them during the

    installation.

    These are from our checklist when we had similar issue in the past while installing SQL 2005 cluster. The cluster shared disk from our SAN were not properly configured. These were recreated and the error got resolved. Try if it works for you.
