The Avengers had a huge build up and I wasn't disappointed with the final result, but the best geeky film of the year had to be Dredd. Ignoring the 3D hype it was true to the source material (2000AD comics), had a simple but well constructed storyline, and HE KEPT HIS HELMET ON!! Good on ya Karl Urban 😎
