    Hi All,

    I have upgrade the sql server 2005 to 2008R2 successfully but still it showing the Management studio in startup menu but not able to connect SQL server. So let me know shall i uninstall the services of SQL SERVER 2005???

    It seems like you did an in-place upgrade from 2005 to 2008r2, so, why are you trying to connect to 2005 again?
