    I recommend restoring from the last good full backup. Since the DB is in simple recovery model, that amount of data loss (since the last full backup) must be acceptable to the business.

    uggh...that's a hard recommendation for me to want to think about.

    Data will be lost in this scenario.

    The options are to restore back to the last full backup and have a database that's transactionally consistent as of a known time, resulting in one day of data loss, or repair and have a database that may be transactionally inconsistent with an unknown amount of data loss. That's pretty much the options that are left at this point
