Yeah....That's what I have been thinking.

We have been having frequent deadlocks like this.

Changing at the query level is my recommendation.

MaxDOP is 0 and Cost Threshold For Parallelism is 5. (Default setting at the server level).

Since too many queries getting deadlocked, I am skeptical whether changing the server level setting would help or not ?

Any suggestions on this ?
