May be MS, but that shouldn't stop you from adding an index if it helps. I worked ith PeopleSoft developers and added several indexes to PeopleSoft systems to support system performance. We didn't wait for Oracle to make those changes (and sometimes the did and others they didn't). We simply supported them as enhancements if they didn't.
