    There is NO case where I would ever want to use a GUID as a clustered key column.

    It would have to be THE ONLY WAY POSSIBLE for me to consider it.

    The performance damage is just way too severe.

    Quite right too - but would you use a GUID as a PK?

    Not if I can avoid it.
