Thank you for clarifying. We seem to be up and running again on a replacement computer. We did find out that the previous partner had imbedded virtual servers within virtual servers. What a mess. This SQL server is running in a buried virtual server and there is another virtural server running Exchange inside a virtual small business server. We are untangling it now.
