I've always been a shadow IT guy. Central IT is undermanned and often under trained. Like the others here, I've also done task for clients that their IT deparments didn't have the time or skill for. Yesterday I had to explain simple batch files and task scheduling to a client IT person with 3 certificates in their signature. :w00t:
