Thanks for your post.. I've just fixed a database with exactly the same error using this method 🙂 Have you had anymore thoughts as to why it occurred in the 1st place ?

I've checked the logs etc but can't see clues to why it happened! Would be good to get to the root cause to prevent it from happening again.
