One of his SQL Server 2012 books is available now:
SQL Server 2012 High-Performance T-SQL using window functions
learndevnow.com has SQL Server courses available; only one is regarding 2012 but the ones about SQL Server 2008 would be helpful. The cost is $99 for the year.
I suspect you would be able to match most or all of the exam objectives to the books above.
I am starting to look into getting the MCSA: SQL Server 2012, but only have classroom experience, and not much of it. I want to be a DBA, and feel I am a natural at it; I absolutely love it.
Does anyone else recommend learndevnow.com? I will probably be getting the book and training kit that the MS site recommends for the course - Book: T-SQL Fundamentals for Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and SQL Azure,
MCTS Self Paced Training Kit 70-461. What do you all think of that?
I have had a very difficult time figuring out what I need to take and where I need to go to get my education. I don't have a lot of money (cause I'm looking for work!), but I would like quality courses and understand I will have to pay; just don't want to waste my money. I am self taught and prefer virtual to onsite classroom.
Any suggestions would be so appreciated! Also, I am new here and figuring out where to post my questions, so please let me know if there are other forums or threads that may be helpful to me. Thanks so much everyone. 🙂
