I think I've spent my entire 30+ year career learning in the margins; whether at work or not. Most employers I have had haven't had the money nor time to send me to formal classes. I have had to seek out information whenever I needed it.

As far as life is concerned... just the other evening, I was watching the Chicago Cubs destroy my Milwaukee Brewers (10-0). Instead of feeling miserable, I read a book about bass fishing. It made me forget the game (at least for a time) and now I can't wait to go fishing.
