462 and 463 seem to be more of a DBA focus and while I am going to enjoy the challenge it is going to be a real challenge for me.
463 is not what I'd call DBA focused. It's SSIS, MDS and DQS.
Any suggestions for a good basic book that would help me get a good grounding before the courses and books become available. I have been involved in supporting SQL Server but would never ever think of saying I could do any DBA task.
Books Online? Though if you've never done any DBA work, you are going to struggle greatly with 462. It's not at a level where a casual familiarity with DBA tasks is adequate.
