Our 8 DBAs take turns, a week at a time. We have a mix of RDBMS species, so if we handle an after-hours call on a system we don't understand, we will bring another DBA into the conversation.

I'd say we handle around 3-5 after-hour calls a week. At this point, 95% of the issues are NOT MS-SQL 🙂
