    That was a company trying to relocate a DBA to Kansas, so I figured they needed to offer larger amounts to get someone to move, so I wrote that off as a desperate situation.

    Are you willing to share what company that was? I live in Kansas and that kind of money is unheard of around here. The cost of living in the Midwest is a LOT lower than where you are.

    This was back in October of 2011 that I started this topic.

    If I recall it was an insurance company in Lenexa KS. That is just from memory though.

    hehe I didn't notice this was an older thread. Guessing that opportunity has dried up already or I probably would have heard about it by now. I always wonder why companies feel they need to relocate people. Lenexa is a KC suburb and there are plenty of qualified people around here. So strange the decisions businesses make sometimes.

    How is Seattle? I lived there from 91 - 97. Miss that part of the country.

    Probably because it was a national recruiting company. I don't think they even consider looking locally to the company retaining them, that should be handled by the company or maybe a local agency. Just my guess.
