in Canada we had Family Day yesterday - Ontario, Alberta and Saskatchewan only - leaving only March or April, depending on Easter, June and November without a stat holiday - we're working on that. so, no code was compiled no queries were run and nobody stormed or stomped or yelled at anybody - at the office at least....
Alas we have lots of state holidays. However businesses don't dare shut down because everyone expects to be able to buy stuff.
