Thanks for the comments and will take into account your suggestions. We may even change the posting to reflect that a degree is preferred instead of required. I know personally that I am more interested in someone that has a strong passion for SQL Server and continually trying to learn and improve. I work at a great company and a great attitude and passion goes a long way.

Winters are not as bad as I thought. I moved here specifically for this job from Tennesse and was expecting a lot worse winters than it actually turned out. I am sure Arizona to Michigan would be more of a change than Tennessee to Michigan. Detroit is really turning things around and our family of companies is helping lead the way in turning Detroit into a strong technological area.
