ANSI will be dead, as will Varchar/Char. EVERYTHING text will be in UNICODE. MS is already starting that - import a spreadsheet and see what data types they are. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, other than storage for larger text fields (which will go away in favor or NVARCHAR(MAX) or Filestream data).
