Need database expert

  • We are urgently sourcing a database expert to facilitate faster online database searches on our Non Profit Website http://www.patriotdrive.org. We currently utilize an SQL database and although the site is equiped with the operational ability to manage our agenda it is slow and inefficient. The site has approx. 330,000 records containing : FName, LName, Date, State, Email, Gender and 3 other fields, an expedited search of this information is imperative for our online participants as our growth rate has been very fast.

PatriotDrive is a Non Profit Corporation registered in California, dedicated to uniting Americans in a Pledge of Allegiance to our country. Our goal is to collect 4 million online signatures to the Pledge of Allegiance. This list of 4 million patriots will be displayed at ground zero NY on the one year annivirsary of 9-11.

Please contact our office at ew@patriotdrive.com or (310) 670-2353.

  • Anyone follow up on this? Interested to hear how it went if you did!

I hope you have already found a solution, but If you still need help I am sure they would be up to the task.

This thread is 15 years old and the original poster has only visited this site once, i.e., he hasn't come back since he posted the job.  If they haven't already filled this position, they are in deep trouble, and it is highly unlikely that the original poster will ever see your response.

  • Here is an active job posting from someone who does check the site from time to time.  I am not a big contributor, but I learned a lot here when I was still technical and I have an appreciation for the people who post here.  If anyone is really looking, we plan to fill these inside of 15 years.
