Hi,

I wonder if anyone here knows how to change the save-location of the Templates in Sql Server Management Studio?

Even though the SQL Server Management Studio created in My Documents has a Templates folder, I just found out that all the templates are saved to "C:\Documents and Settings\iainb\Application Data\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\Shell\Templates\Sql\"

Nice Smile

Anyway, I've had a look around the SSMS and the web and can't see any obvious way to change this behaviour without writing some sort of script.

Any input is much appreciated, as I like to be organised! Smile
