Error Constraint Violation

  • Hi All,

    Please advise
I get this error twice every week and does not look like a major issue. But what can be possible resolution or troubleshooting.
DESCRIPTION:    Error: 52627 Severity: 16 State: 1 Constraint violation. Cannot insert duplicate key in Table.

    Thanks

Look at the data being inserted, and find out why the application/website/server/etc is trying to insert a row with a value in the primary key column that already exists in the table. There's not much more information we can offer here, as there's no context of when this is happening, what SQL is being run, how it's being run, etc, etc. You'll need to share a lot more information to get a more comprehensive answer.

    Thom~

Excuse my typos and sometimes awful grammar. My fingers work faster than my brain does.
