I have a 3 node SQL 2012 enterprise cluster with 3 nodes in an AOAG group. I have setup the 3rd as a replication distributor and subscriber from the primary node AOAG database and followed a number of articles of setting up the publication on the primary having the 3rd node as the distributor as the subscriber and setup linked servers on all 3 nodes, with the 3rd node also have linked server to the AOAG listener. When I run replication re-direct the publisher on the 3rd distributor node to use AOAG listerner I get the following error:
The availability group associated with Virtual Network Name 'AOAGListenerName' has no replicas.
Has anyone come across this error? all linked server communication is OK, the AOAG is healthy for each node. Not sure what is causing this error.
Any help would be appreciated.
