Does SQL Profiler template created for SQL Server 2017 work for 2008?

    Now I don't have installed SQL Server 2008 but I want to know the trace template which I've created for 2017 will work for 2008?

    Yes. Nothing has changed in Profiler since 2008.

    You might want to take a look at Extended Events for your more modern systems.
