Hi All,
Looking for advice on READ COMMITTED SNAPSHOT isolation level.
How to turn on read committed snapshot isolation level in sql server 2016 enterprise edition?
Basically, wanted to check this option to remove deadlocks in the application. what to check the pros/cons of it.
Can anybody provide a good resource/blog post to test the read committed snapshot isolation level in conjunction with the deadlocks.
What to see and know how it is going to avoid deadlock situations within an app.
Thanks,
Sam

RCSI is not a magic switch which can eliminate all kinds of deadlocks. Below are couple of excellent resources which might help understanding pros and cons of enabling this feature.
