I am running into very weird issues. I have min memory set to 200 GB and Max set to 1.3 TB, server has physically 1.5 TB RAM. I see very good PLE about 4000 however every few seconds or so lazywrites/sec jumps to 1000 and then drops down to 0. I have spent days trying to figure this out. I have few questions to the group:
i) Has any one experienced this behavior on 2016 + SP2.?
ii) In SQL server memory other than buffer what else makes use of that memory? I understand linkedservers use memory outside of buffer?
